Platform 9 ¾ to Hogwarts Challenge March update!
“Running to Hogwarts for KEEN because no one should ever be left out!”
Lilja is making great progress with her long (virtual) journey north to Hogwarts!
So far (mid-March) she has clocked up 367 km in nearly 50 separate outings which would take her from Oxford to the upper slopes of Blencathra in the Lake District. The warm March sunshine has made the journey much more pleasant. January floods and the wild wind and rain in February made for very difficult running, but Lilja found charging through the floods on Port Meadow especially fun.
Maggie, Lilja’s trusty puppy, has been with her every step of the way and amazingly, is still ecstatically excited every time Lilja pulls on her trail shoes.
We’re delighted to report that fundraising is going really well too - £600 so far, and rising! Just 333 km and £100 to go!
