Programme Structure
4-8 month placement, run entirely virtually, gaining experience in each of the following projects:
Leadership
Your chance to become a leader in inclusive activities! You will pick one of our Virtual KEEN projects and come along every week - have fun, get to know everybody and learn new skills. When confident, you will organise and lead the session one week.
e.g. Be the presenter at KEENs Got Talent, run an INK Art Workshop, be the choir master for a day!
Fundraising
Fundraising is key to all charities and this is your chance to develop your very own fundraising strategy.
Your target is £100, but we encourage you to aim high and get creative.
E.g. 24hr chess-athon at school, talking to local businesses to persuade them to support KEEN, an auction of promises.
Recruitment
We're always looking for more people to join the KEEN community. Your recruitment goal will be to encourage at least 10 young people to get involved.
E.g. run a taster session for your friends, give a presentation in your school, run a social media recruitment campaign
Personal Project
Get involved with any other area of our work that you are interested in and learn about some of the behind-the-scenes skills at KEEN.
This can be anything from graphic design, to collecting data, writing in a local newspaper or featuring on our podcast.
