KEEN famous: meet Joseph!
KEEN is full of absolute superstars and we wanted to share their stories with you. Today we hear from Joseph, one of our participants. Joseph loves spending time with his Community Buddy, Molly, but also received our Virtual KEEN Postal Pack during lockdown and joins us online for some sessions. Once, he featured on our very own KEEN Podcast ‘That’s What It’s All About’. Hear what he says below…

What is your favourite KEEN memory?
My favourite moment was sharing brussels sprout ketchup with Molly – it is green and very smelly!!

Can you introduce yourself?
My name is Joseph and I am 16 years old. I started joining in at KEEN in lockdown with the Buddies scheme. I like retro gaming and watching cartoon characters crying!
KEEN is important to me because of all the funny stuff I share with my Buddy Molly. I liked doing the radio podcast and getting post too. Having Molly as a friend makes me feel happy and less isolated.

“I love KEEN buddies – it is the best!! In lockdown when I was shielding it meant I had a fun friend to laugh with. I love chatting with Molly and being cheeky. Seeing Molly in person has been very special and I love sharing my gaming, some of my favourite places and doing fun activities like making giant bubbles and tie dye t-shirts.”
