What we do
We are a student-led group and our goal is to promote inclusion in Southampton!
We were set up in summer 2020 and we have two main focuses:
1. #ShareOneWorld, a KEEN project helping young people to make their own communities more inclusive.
2. Running free online activity sessions for local children and young people.
This page includes information on what we do, our team, our events, and how to get involved.

We run a free class on Zoom every Monday at 16:30, email us at if you would like to attend!
We always have a seated modification to accommodate different mobility needs and clear, spoken instructions to accommodate visual impairments.

About us
Our team
Viktoria Venkatess Branch Coordinator
Second year Psychology
I have been a volunteer at KEEN London for four years and have loved it so much that I just knew I had to be involved in getting KEEN Southampton started. I love getting to know the young people that we work with and their families, and I cannot wait to build the KEEN community in Southampton!
Jade Farrow
Project Officer
First year Education & Psychology
As an education and psychology student, inclusivity has always been close to my heart. I have spent the past year working with young people and I love craft and activity sessions. I joined KEEN to provide more opportunities for the community and have fun along the way.
Kat Munday Outreach Officer
First year Education & Psychology
I have a background in charity work and supporting individuals with additional needs. I love music, creating games, chubby cats, and getting stuck in with play! I’m excited to work on KEEN Southampton’s outreach so we can get as many people involved in our work as possible.
Maisie Cadd
Treasurer
Second year Psychology
My interests include painting, drawing and dancing and I can’t wait to share these by running dance classes at KEEN Southampton! I have gotten involved because I enjoy working with young people and encouraging inclusivity in the community, and I’m excited to be part of this new project.
Juliette Barendson #shareoneworld officer
Second year French & Spanish
I have always thought that giving back to the community is important and I have worked with the WE Movement and Southampton RAG. When I heard about KEEN Southampton, I knew it was an organisation I wanted to be involved with and I am excited to get working.
Rebecca Seed #shareoneworldofficer
Second year Psychology
I have always loved helping others and I have volunteered at an SEN school and at Revitalise, which provides respite holidays for disabled adults and their carers. I am looking forward to using my performing arts background to run creative and fun activities at KEEN Southampton!
