Call for volunteers in Exeter!

Here at KEEN, we aim to promote the inclusion of people with disabilities across the whole of the UK. As part of our efforts, we launched a new KEEN branch in Exeter in Summer 2020. We are currently looking for people who are based in Exeter who would be interested in helping to expand KEEN’s operations in the city.

We are especially interested in recruiting people aged between 18 and 25 from Exeter to sign up to our brand new #ShareOneWorld Ambassador Programme.

The role of a #ShareOneWorld Ambassador is to educate local school children about disability by visiting schools and giving assemblies on inclusion. These assemblies will help local children to understand what ‘inclusion’ means and think about how inclusive their local community is.

If you sign up to become a #ShareOneWorld Ambassador, you will have an opportunity to play a key role in inspiring school children to become #ShareOneWorld pledge-makers. As pledge-makers, these school children will then be prepared to design and carry out their own projects to promote inclusion across Exeter.
